Blogging!!!

I am so totally behind on blogging! Life has been so crazy and I haven't had two seconds to think about it. Since my last post in March we have done many fun things which I will post about later...things like a weekend to Logan to an Aggie Gymnastics meet, Easter, riding the new 4 wheeler, Taysa's 5th grade music program, Brooklyn's 1st grade talent show, the girls dance recital, Maggie's Temple sealing, Brooklyn's soccer games, Brooklyn's 1st grade music program, the girls dance competition at Lagoon, having cousins spend the night, Brooklyn getting poked in the eye at school which caused a scratch on her pupil, and snow in May!

MAKE OVERS!
My girls love to give each other make overs...it's one of their very favorite things to do. So I couldn't resist taking these cute pictures. At least they like to spend time together doing something right?

1st Grade Talent Show and Program

In May, Brooklyn had her 1st grade talent show and program. It was very cute. The kids read stories out loud in groups and they all played their own parts. They sang songs and had a talent show. Brooklyn and her friend Arianna did their Baton dance from dance class. They did a GREAT job!

LAGOON DANCE COMPETITION!!!

This year Brooklyn got to compete in the Lagoon dance competition too! They were so excited and did a great job!!! And of course getting to spend the rest of the day riding the rides isn't too shabby either.

Taysa's "I Gotta Feeling" dance at Lagoon. Taysa is the girl on the right in the beginning when there are only 2 girls out...she was so excited to get to do this part! Her class took 1st place in their category too!

Here are a few pictures of the rest of our day at Lagoon. We had lots of fun riding rides. Taysa and Brooklyn rode the old white roller coaster for the first time this year. Taysa looooooved it and Brooklyn looked like she had seen a ghost when she got off...she obviously did NOT like it! And Taysa made me go on the one ride I really DON'T like...Mouse Trap! I have been afraid of that ride since I was a kid, I went on it once with my mom and I vowed that day, NEVER AGAIN until Taysa convinced her mom that it wouldn't be THAT BAD...guess what? Still DO NOT like the ride!


And Cloe, our little girl that we thought would hate all the rides...think again! She would have gone on the really big ones if she was tall enough. She loved everything she rode, but her favorite ride was Lady Bug Bop and the Dinosaur Drop. When she was on those rides she would giggle so hard and loud that all the people under the ride were laughing with her. She loooooooves rides!

EASTER

Easter! What can I say about Easter...it's coloring eggs, pastel colored candy, chocolate bunnies, Easter egg hunts, and the Easter bunny. We love Easter for all of the above mentioned reasons. The Easter bunny always brings the girls a new spring outfit which I love and a toy or something they have been wanting. This year they all got a new jacket too. Gotta love the Easter Bunny!!!

Taysa got a new quilt for her bed this year. It's adorable! Now we just need to paint her room and get it finished.

Brooklyn got a Girl Gourmet cake decorator set. We still haven't tried it...poor girl. Maybe now that it is summer we will have time to give it a whirl!!!

Cloe got an ice cream factory play dough set. She has wanted one so bad and finally the Easter bunny brought her one...yeah!!!

Matt bought the girls a little 4 wheeler for Easter this year. They loooooove it!

Don't you just love the excitement on Cloe's face? Brooklyn I'm not sure if she quite figured it out yet and Taysa had already seen it so it wasn't too exciting for her.

Talent Show!

Taysa had a class talent show on March 4th. Her and four of her friends; Abi, Taylor, Rylie, and Allysa, did their dance from Jill Searle's dance studio. They had to perform in their homeroom classes and the winners from each class went on to perform at the 5th grade talent show. Taysa and her friends got to perform in two different homeroom's and guess what...they won 1st in both.

March 11th was the 5th grade talent show. They had so much fun and they did a GREAT job. Way to go girls!!!
