Family Pictures

Here are some of my favorite pictures that Marianne took during our family picture sitting. These were taken just random and candid and they turned out so good. It really captures them having a great time!

Here are some cute pictures of the girls dancing around. Marianne just keep taking pictures and they turned out so cute.

Eastern Idaho State Fair

August 31, 2008
Cristi, Bryan and the kids came up and went to the Eastern Idaho State Fair with us. We had a lot of fun until the rain drenched us all. Brooklyn went on her favorite ride, the carousel. Cloe did her usual, being unhappy and Taysa got to ride all her favorite rides. She even went on a totally crazy ride called the Viper. I didn't get any good pictures, but I know Codi did so if he ever sends me any I will post them (hint hint Codi).

Cloe's Big Girl Bed

Cloe is finally in a big girl bed. She didn't know quite what to think. It has been a long hard road getting her used to the bed and not being in a crib. Notice the first picture, this was the first morning after sleeping in the bed. She obviously was not a happy camper. Neither was I, it took me until 11:00 at night to get her to sleep and then she woke up 3 more times during the night and I couldn't leave until she went back to sleep otherwise she screamed and drove us all crazy. But in the end she now sleeps through the night with no problems. We did however, move her in with Brooklyn and Taysa now has her own room again.

"Tree Climbing"

August 24, 2008
On this particular Sunday after church I looked out the window to find Taysa and Brooklyn "tree climbing." I had to laugh because they were wearing their bike helmets, using a bunch of jump ropes tied together and pretending to be rock climbing. It was so hilarious, so I tried to be so sneaky and catch them before they knew what I was doing. I got a couple of shots taken and then they saw me.

First Day of School!!!

August 14, 2008
It's here!!! The first day of school is finally here! Taysa was so excited to start the 4th grade and Brooklyn could hardly wait to start Kindergarten. I was very nervous for Brooklyn, because she is/was so shy. On the first day we drove Taysa to school and dropped her off and on the way to Brooklyn's school she said to me, "Mom, I've made a decision. You can just leave me there, don't walk me in." I was completely floored. This coming from Brooklyn who never wants to leave my side. She did great the first day and every day since then.

Cloe decided it was her turn for a picture with her backpack. The girls were very good sports to get their picture taken with her. She was really sad when they went to school without her.

Here is Brooklyn getting on the bus for the first time and getting off at home. She was so excited to finally get to ride the bus.

Happy 9th Birthday Taysa!

August 3, 2008
Taysa was so excited for her birthday! As soon as we walked in the door from church (we go at 9:00) she started to rip into her presents.

All Taysa really wanted for her birthday was roller blades. Well, grandma and grandpa came through for her and Brooklyn too. (thanks me me and pa pa, they are getting pretty good at rollerblading now) Brooklyn got an early birthday present because it's kind of hard to roller blade at the end of October.

Are We There Yet? ........Yellowstone

August 2, 2008
The day before Taysa's birthday we packed up the kids and drove to West Yellowstone for the day. Can you believe we live this close and this is the first trip we have taken there. The kids were so excited and all we heard the entire drive is, "Are we there yet?"

Notice, most of the pictures are of the backs of the girls. No one wanted to turn around and look at the camera so I did the best I could. Cloe screamed and cried most of the time because it was "STINKY!"

Here is Old Faithful! I had never seen it before, so when it was done I looked at Matt and said, "Is that it?" I guess I expected to see more.
