Tonsillectomy

Brooklyn finally had to get her tonsils out. The poor kid just couldn't breath and talk about snoring!!!
Pre-op, still smiling!

Showing off her cute stuffed cow she got from the hospital.

How many kids are lucky enough to have their aunt be their pre-op and post-op nurse? Not many, but here is Brooklyn with aunt Michelle. She was the best nurse we've ever had!

Almost time...she's all fitted with her hair cap and the anesthesia mask. Getting a little nervous now.

All done and acting a little crazy. She noticed the mural on the wall for the first time about 5 different times. Funny girl!

Home and all settled in already eating popsicles and ice cream.

Todd, Michelle and the boys came over to see Brooklyn. These guys must really love Cloe because it seems she is always dressing them up. Hair bows and flowers for all the guys.

Cloe was even able to get one on dad!

Chase, what a good sport...but you sure do look pretty.

Open Gym

One of my girls favorite past times is open gym. We go to the gymnastics gym and play for 2 hours doing whatever you want. It is so much fun and they are completely worn out by the time we leave.
We took a few friends with us this time so the girls had even more fun. I know it's really hard to tell what's going on in these pictures. A lot of flipping and kids upside down and just having fun.

Pre-pointe Ballet

Taysa has never shown any interest whatsoever in ballet but this year out of the blue she asked if she could take ballet. The dance year had already started so we thought she would probably have to wait until next season. My friend, Keri Payne, owns Elite Studios dance in Shelley so Taysa asked her if she had any ballet classes she could sign up for. She actually had a spot in a 7th-12th grade pre-pointe ballet class. So she had Taysa come to one class to see if she would be able to handle it. What do you think happened? Not only could she handle it but she fell in love with it. Her goal is to be on toe shoes in the next year. She was the youngest and smallest girl in the class but WOW did she ever stand out. She is a beautiful ballet dancer and I am so proud of her for trying something new. Keep up the hard work and you'll get your toe shoes!

Here are a few pictures of the class performing at the senior citizens center. The pictures aren't that great, I was kind of behind them.
