Cowgirls

One day Matt came home with this crazy hat he bought to keep his head cool. He said he bought it at the gas station, of all places. The girls decided it was a pretty cool hat. I would say they look better in it than their dad.

Just Goofin Around!!!

The girls got a wild and crazy idea the other night and wanted to take a bunch of self portraits. We had so much fun. I think my face and my side hurt from laughing so hard.Just the 4 of us girls. Here is our self portrait we decided to take one night when we were obviously very bored.

Playing catch up

As you can all tell, I haven't been keeping up with my blog. So bear with me as I try to catch up on all the fun we have been having this summer.

4th of July

July 4, 2008

Here it is, the 4th of July. The girls love the 4th, especially the fireworks. I don't know who likes the fireworks more, the girls or their dad. We spent the 4th with some friends. The girls went swimming all day, there was a fishing derby, tons of bbq food and lots of good friends.

Brooklyn, Cloe & Taysa all dressed up in their 4th of July outfits. This is a weakness I have, I always have to buy them a new outfit for the 4th. Obviously Cloe does not want her picture taken today.

The fireworks have begun!!!

Natalie, Sarah & Shireen - Together Again!!!

July 1, 2008

It's finally here! Sarah came to town from Virginia so the three of us decided it was a perfect opportunity to leave the kids at home and have a girls day out. We had so much fun catching up. Funny how so many years can go by and you just pick up right where you left off the last time. Sarah and I hadn't physically seen each other in 7 years, can you believe it. My how time flies. We decided we are going to make this a tradition. Every year when Sarah is in town we are going out for a girls day, no kids. Thanks so much for the great time girls, can't wait till next year.

Cloe's 2nd Birthday

June 29, 2008
Today is Cloe's 2nd birthday! I can't believe she is already 2, it just doesn't seem possible. Cloe is the life of the party. She is a very funny child and keeps everyone laughing. We love you Cloe!

Cloe is lucky enough to share her birthday with her grandma, so in the afternoon we had a big family bbq at Michelle's house to celebrate their birthdays. Also Marci was in town so they had a picture taken with all the siblings and their children.

Finally a Swingset!

June 21, 2008
Well, we finally convinced Matt to buy a swingset instead of trying to make one himself. We heard a lot of complaining but, yeah, dad finally got it done. Thanks dad, we love you and the swingset too!!!
