My Girls!

I love my girls!!!

Ice Cream faces!!!

My girls love ice cream...I mean they really LOOOOOVVVE ice cream! These faces are pretty normal for our house. When they eat their ice cream they put everything they have into it and enjoy every crumb there is.

Snow Days!

The girls have had a lot of fun this winter with their dad. He has started a new tradition. Whenever they play in the snow he starts a fire so when they get cold they can just warm up by it. He has pulled them around in our backyard on the sled and the tubes so much that I think our snow is too compacted to ever melt. These pictures are over several different sledding days...notice how in some there is very little snow, that's actually Christmas day and then slowly there is more.

The girls have a GREAT time sledding and sitting by the fire with their dad. Notice how I'm nowhere to be found. I like the warmth of my house! :)

Cloe - she likes to play in the snow but doesn't like the sled or tube very much.

Brooklyn - she likes to ride fast and be thrown off the tube.

Taysa - she likes to ride fast but safely.

D.A.R.E.

We all know what D.A.R.E. stands for right?...Drug Abuse Resistance Education. I knew that, but yet I didn't. That is something I learned tonight at Taysa's D.A.R.E. graduation. I also learned during the course of this program at school how dedicated my daughter is to NOT doing drugs. I am so proud of her and how strong she is and will be. She is such a good girl and always wants to do what is right. I love you Taysa and I am very proud of the girl you are.

Taysa waiting to go on stage to graduate...she's the one in the glasses with wavy hair. They had the lights out in the gym and it made for a dark picture.

Taysa walking across the graduation stage and just about to shake the principals hand.

Christmas 2009

I have always loved Christmas time...the decorations, the shopping, the spirit, the food, the family and friends, basically everything about Christmas. But the past few years I've been so behind with my shopping that it has made Christmas more of a hassle and headache. I find myself just wishing it to be over. I know I should spend more time concentrating on what Christmas is all about but I really like to give...not only give just a gift, but the perfect gift. I have tried really hard to teach my girls that Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ and there I always am worrying about the shopping and having everything perfect. I guess I should learn from my own teachings. This year I am going to try hard to remember what Christmas is about and not worry so much about the PERFECT gift.
