Family trip to Island Park

Day 1
In June we took a family trip to Island Park. Uncle Dick and Aunt Vonnie Lue Broulim were nice enough to let us use their beautiful cabin there so we could enjoy some family fun.

Isn't it gorgeous?

PLAYING IN THE WATER!

The kids had so much fun boating, canoeing, riding the wave runners and just playing in the water.

Evening fun!

What is roasting marshmallows, Matt taking Alex on his first boat fishing trip and he actually caught a fish, sitting on the dock fishing, riding the 4 wheelers and the super fun go cart?...FAMILY FUN!

Day 2
Water fun again!

A BIG thanks to Uncle Dick and Aunt Vonnie Lue for letting us stay at their cabin. We love and appreciate your kindness. Also a BIG thanks to Papa and Mema for including us all in this fun family trip. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again. We love you!

Soccer Camp!

Taysa and Brooklyn did a soccer camp this summer at Bonneville High school. This was Taysa's first time playing soccer and she loooooved it and was really good. Brooklyn just loves soccer period...she had lots of fun and is getting to be a better player.

Cloe seemed to attract three new boyfriends. It was so funny...she was standing out there watching all by herself, slowly the first boy came over, then slowly came the second boy, and before I knew it there were three. She did play hard to get. She wouldn't talk to them or even look at them in the beginning, but they worked their magic and got her to pay attention to them. They even got her to smile and giggle.

Brooklyn...she did a lot of this, standing and giggling.

Taysa running and playing hard, here she is about to get the ball.

Brooklyn and her soccer camp friend, sorry we can't remember her name now.

5th Grade Music Program

April 8, 2010
The kids music programs are always a fun thing :} to go to and my girls get really excited about them. This year the 5th grade added a new twist to their singing program, they actually danced. It was really cute and the kids had a lot of fun doing it. At the end of the show they sang Thriller and at the end they came out and danced. Very cute idea!

Taysa is in the front wearing the turquoise tank top and white shirt.

Memorial Day 2010

For Memorial Day this year we headed to Star Valley the Sunday before Memorial Day and met Cristi and her family there. We always have a great time visiting with Aunt Annette and Karen and who ever else happens to be there. Annette takes such great care of us...making sure we have lots of good food and GREAT company! We love you Aunt Annette and thanks so much for putting up with us every year.

There always seems to be an abundance of flowers and items placed on dad's grave...for that we are grateful!

Star Valley is a beautiful place. Just look at the views on our amazing drive!

On Memorial Day we had a BBQ at grandma and grandpa's house. We always have a good time with all the cousins, aunts and uncles. Lot's of fun, good food and great company. My kids are so lucky to live so close to their cousins and even better they LOVE to play together.

School Awards!!!

Taysa did such a great job in school this year. She was in an advanced math class doing 7th grade math in 5th grade. It was a challenge for her...which I really don't think she liked. She actually had to apply herself and study hard. Her first report card she brought home a C in math to which she was devastated. We explained to her that she had a done a great job in 7th grade math and not to get discouraged. She studied and worked sooooooo hard and the next report card was an A-. Still frustrated she studied even harder and to her satisfaction brought home an A for the next two report cards. At the end of the year they give out awards to students who did above and beyond what is expected. Taysa received the math award for the most improved student. YEAH way to go, but that's not all...she also received the reading award for the top 3 readers in her class. Wow!!! We are so proud of her.

Here is Taysa receiving her awards from the Principal.

AGGIE GYMNASTICS MEET
A few pictures from the gymnastics meet. The Aggies were so much fun to watch. The picture of the guy in the white shirt and tie is one of my first gymnastic coaches. His name is Jeff and while he was my coach he was attending Utah State and had a girlfriend named Shireen and now he is the Aggie's coach. Pretty crazy!

Having fun at the gym meet...GO AGGIES!!!

BIG BLUE
Big Blue was Cloe's favorite part of the whole meet...well maybe not her favorite but it's what kept her attention the entire time. Cloe was sitting on my lap when all of the sudden she started crying. I had no idea why...Big Blue was to blame. He was getting too close to her and she was freaking out. At one point he even came up to her and tried to give her five, but she was not about to have it. So he backed away and rubbed his eyes like he was crying. The rest of the meet all Cloe cared about was where is Blue?

FREDRICOS PIZZA
On Saturday Matt went snowmobiling with his friends and my mom, sister Cristi and niece Kylie came to Logan to spend the day with us. We went shopping, goofed around and went to lunch at the best pizza place in the world, Fredricos!!!

SWIMMING
Kylie was such a good sport and went swimming with the girls in the hotel pool. The pool was a little cold but they had lots of fun.

"I KEEP GETTIN ALL THESES WEDGIES," Cloe! I had to post this picture because, I guess you had to be there. She kept getting wedgies like crazy all day and this was hilarious.

Getting ready to go swimming again!

GOING HOME!

Brooklyn on the drive home...she was exhausted from our fun filled weekend.

LITTLE BUNNY FOO FOO

This picture is of a bunny we found sitting on our back porch when we got home. It was really funny because the whole weekend Cloe kept singing little bunny foo foo. So when we came home to find Little Bunny Foo Foo sitting on our porch Cloe was really happy.
