OUR TIME TO SHINE dance recital 2009 is finally here. Every year I say we are never doing that again. For dance mom's you all know exactly why I say this. Recital is WORK!!! But every year we do recital and for a good reason, my girls love it. They have truly become dancers at heart. Don't miss the two posts before this one, they have video of the girls dances.
Here are the girls posing on stage with some of the back drop. Cloe thinks she is a dancer too and hopefully someday soon she will be, she loves to dance like her big sisters.
Brooklyn's jazz and tap dances. Brooklyn has had so much fun this year dancing. She has really come out of her shell and become quite the performer. She was so excited waiting for recital that I didn't think she would survive until the day FINALLY came. If you click on the picture collage they should open up and enlarge so you can see them better.
Brooklyn's Junior Finale. All the dance classes come out, do a little dance and bow. Then they all gather on stage and wait until everyone is out. Yeah dancers!!!
Taysa's KNIFE BATON dance. Taysa was really nervous at the beginning of the dance season knowing they were using the knife batons. She was afraid of it for awhile, but slowly became used to it and ended up loving it. She is really good at throwing and twirling it. She must have inherited that gene from my mother. My mom was a baton twirler in high school back in the day. Dance and baton have been so much fun this year for Taysa and she is sad to have it over, until September.
Taysa's "WE ROCK" clogging dance. This is a fun dance with the props. They are going to Lagoon to perform this dance on May 2nd at a competition. The girls are so excited.
